If you are playing poker, taking bad beats or simply not experiencing much luck, its probably not even your fault. Most likely it has nothing to do with you. The valid reason is that you are succeeding as much as you are in implementing the strategy. This is no surprise as there are countless worthless strategies lurking around.

I’m not going to lie to you, they’ve found the most successful poker players do. This is because they are tight enough to make enough pots to make enough money. But unless you’re a multimillion dollar WPT champion, playing loose is probably the best way to go.

Well, if you walk past a $ 100 bill it would be worth your time to pick it up, for the simple reason that you are still at the Bill Gates level of success. When you are a billionaire sure, keep walking, but for now, focus on whats the best move for you!
Why Tight Is Even Better In Online Poker
Many reasons for playing online poker:
1) More hands are played quicker, so overall you get to be more pots then you are playing real life.
2) Online poker players are often very … crap … and most likely not even realistic if you are playing loose aggressive or bluffing. Because they don’t realize, they just call you stupidly, and they often beat you accidentally.
3) Tight is the only surefire way to win consistently. You have a better hand with beat them.
4) Also, when you get dealt bad cards and fold, because you are home you can do other things. I like to have information like poker tips, strategies, odds, probability etc to open and focus on certain areas in my game. If you are playing loose you don’t get this benefit because your always in a pot.
So if anyone ever tells you that your playing poker is weak then you play tight, tell them where to go. If they knew anything they would understand that a tight game. Playing tight is a basic skill to learn in poker and more often than not is quite profitable.
